Our straight-run Muscovy ducklings are domesticated and raised at our hatchery. With the Straight run option, it isn’t specified what gender of Muscovy duckling you are going to get. Our straight runs are a selection from the general hatch of ducklings, before we separate out any males or females.

Yes. White Muscovy meat is 98% lean, with a mild flavor that many compare more to beef or veal than greasy duck. Because of this, Muscovy meat is considered a premium option and often sells at higher prices.

Male ducklings are sexed as drakes and will grow larger, making them ideal for meat.
Female ducklings are sexed as hens and are best if you want eggs or strong brooders.
Straight run ducklings are not sexed; you receive a mix of males and females as hatched.
