Khaki Campbell Ducks are known for their khaki brown color, and slender, athletic builds. Males tend to have darker heads, while the females are more of a uniform brown color. These ducks have an upright carriage and small heads, with dark brown eyes. The males usually weigh around 4-5 lbs, while the females weigh around 3.5-4.5 lbs.
Meat and Eggs
These ducks are famous for their high egg production. Khaki Campbell ducks typically lay around 165-300 eggs per year, with many averaging around 300 eggs a year. Their eggs are white/cream color and are richer than chicken eggs, with larger yolk-to-white ratio. While Khaki Campbells are not as prized for their meat, they have lean, mild meat that is less gamey and a bit more lean than other duck breeds.
Temperament
Khaki Campbell ducks are active, friendly, and curious ducks. They are great for families and small farms, and enjoy interacting with humans and other ducks. These little ducks are always on the move, and are great for pest control, due to their foraging. Campbells are generally quieter than other duck breeds, and aren't quite as cuddly as some other more social breeds. They might even have a tendency to be shy or skittish if not handled from a young age.

I ordered 19 ducks and they sent 20 (one free) on 23Sep2024 but the incompetent USPS didn’t deliver them until five days later on 28Sep2024 and only 5 ducks lived. Sherlock Acres will send me about 15 replacements free (due 10Oct2024), thanks. That is outstanding service! The 5 live ones are fantastic and have grown strong & healthy chasing bugs, eating cut grass clippings & store feed, I will order some Pekings and Silver Appleyards from them this Spring.

Our Khaki Campbell ducks are $6.75 a duckling for males, and $9.75 a duckling for females. Straight run (not specified male or female) are $7.75 each.
We ship our ducks anywhere in the United States. All duck orders are shipped as ducklings.

Our Delivery Process
At Shirlock Acres, we take duckling delivery seriously. Before shipping, we hand-check every Khaki Campbell Duck and only send the strongest, freshest birds. You’ll get a tracking number and a heads-up when your ducklings ship, plus you’ll need to pick them up from the post office as soon as they arrive. We tweak our shipping process for the weather, and if anything goes wrong within the first 24 hours, we’ll make it right.
Shipments go out Mondays (every Monday for Muscovy, every other Monday for Pekin & Silver Appleyard)
Ducklings are shipped 0-2 days old, hand-checked for health
Boxes include soft bedding, ventilation, dividers, GroGel, and heat packs in winter
Tracking number and pickup notification provided
Immediate care: preheat brooder (85-90°F), provide warm water with electrolytes, starter feed, and monitor activity
Live arrival guarantee: refund or replacement if ducklings don’t survive the first 24 hours (photo required)
