Khaki Campbell Duck Eggs

$4.93

Khaki Campbell eggs are typically large with white to light cream shells and a mild, richer flavor than chicken eggs. Our eggs are stored in a cooler at our hatchery, giving you the freshest eggs for your specific needs. These are fertile, hatch-ready Khaki Campbell duck eggs. Incubate them to raise your own ducklings, which can continue laying reliably for up to three years. Read more about our hatching process.

Khaki Campbell duck eggs are rich, large, and famously prolific—great for baking and daily eating. Khaki Campbells can lay up to 250–300 eggs/year, far more than many chicken breeds.

These eggs are large to extra-large with white to light cream shells, richer than chicken eggs thanks to higher fat and albumen, which makes them exceptional for baking, custards, and pasta.

  • Size & type: Usually large to extra-large; white to light cream shells.
  • Nutrition: Higher fat and albumen vs chicken eggs; rich, great for baking and custards.
  • Taste: Mild, a bit richer; freshness and feed strongly affect flavor.

Duck Egg FAQs

Hatch rates depend heavily on your incubator settings and management, but our eggs are known for strong fertility and robust development. One customer, for example, reported 11 out of 12 eggs hatching on their very first attempt with a budget incubator, while eggs from another supplier in the same hatch did not perform as well.

We usually ship within 3–5 business days, depending on the laying schedule and current orders.

Eggs are collected once a day, every day from our nesting boxes. They are placed directly into incubator trays, then stored in a cooler at around 60°F until they go into the incubator. This helps maintain fertility when we are only setting eggs once a week.

Muscovy eggs are generally larger and richer than typical chicken eggs. They are popular both for hatching and, in some cases, for baking due to their higher yolk content and size.

Muscovy duck eggs take about 35 days to hatch from the time they enter the incubator. At Shirlock Acres, eggs stay in the main incubator for 31.5 days, then are transferred to hatching trays and placed in the hatcher for another 4.5 days until they are fully hatched.
