Sales Manager at Shirlock Acres

Derek Shirk has been the sales manager at Shirlock Acres since November 2021, bringing focus, energy, and a genuine enthusiasm for ducks to the role. He’s the son of Roger Shirk, who founded Shirlock Acres, and now plays a key part in helping the business grow. Derek works closely with customers to match them with the right birds, drawing on his product knowledge and interest in the care and raising of ducks, along with his wife, Ariana, who also plays an active role in the company, supporting the day-to-day work behind the scenes.

In addition to managing sales, Derek writes the Shirlock Acres blog. He shares practical tips, farm updates, and helpful insights for those raising ducks, all shaped by his hands-on experience and passion for the animals.
