This customer first got ducks when some were rehomed to their farm. After discovering how amusing they were, they decided to get some more from Shirlock Acres. They ordered 10 females and 1 male.
They noted that one of the girls had a rough start. She was smaller and weaker than the rest and kept getting trampled or pushed out of meals, so they kept her in a crate for 3 weeks to keep her from having to fight for resources. They named her Hope.
She’s now joined the rest of the flock and is keeping up with them. The whole flock is beautiful and entertaining, and this customer can’t wait to enjoy their eggs in September.
